What I've noticed, spending time in Peru specifically, there's also a thing as black magic shamanism out there. And these curanderos and shamans also take advantage of very naive Westerners. I've worked with people who took on entities after ayahuasca ceremony. Not only ayahuasca ceremony going wrong, but ayahuasca ceremonies where the curandero purposely installed an entity into one of the participants. And the reason they installed an entity is because it's similar like a Western doctor who is out of integrity and wants to keep his patient sick, so he comes back for more and more and more. There's a lot of romantic projection on indigenous, on shamanism, on plant medicine, right? I've worked with people who, you know, definitely took on very severe entity possession after an ayahuasca ceremony. It was not a pretty picture. It almost destroyed his life, right? In classic, he just looked up on the internet, some retreat down in Peru, and let's just sign up for that. And boom, that's how it happened. And I'm not saying that it's not black and white. I had great insights. My wife has worked with ayahuasca to work through some childhood trauma and all. So it's just absolutely positive side, but it needs to be, again, combined with more psycho-spiritual grounded inner work as well. And not thinking that you're just going to drink it and then you're healed and done and just keep going, going, going. Because then that's how easily you can be taken advantage of, so to speak, right?
