for me to say i'm done like yeah you're done you're done well i'll have a story about why i didn't continue on. I'll get to that eventually. But anyway, and then I had an opportunity after I graduated and got out of the service to go to work for Procter & Gamble. So I worked with them for a while, selling Hidden Shoulders Crest Toothpaste and things of that nature. That's where you go to learn marketing, right? Like that's like a marketing powerhouse, right? Oh, absolutely. Absolutely. And after a while, that wasn't my cup of tea. So I got into the electronics business in Connecticut. And an opportunity came up to actually buy into a company out on the West Coast in San Jose. And so I did. I took the family from Connecticut all the way out to San Jose, California. My daughters hated me for at least three or four months after that because they were eight and 10 at the time and I had to pull them out of school. And oh, yeah, that was not a good situation. But anyway, it turned out okay. And I picked up the San Jose Mercury News one day and a gentleman by the name of Stanton Freeman was coming to San Jose City College to talk about UFOs and the government cover-up. Well, that was like somebody threw a light switch for me. I said, oh my God, I got to go see this guy. And I did. And he gave one of his inimitable presentations showing all this redacted information that he got through FOIA and from the cia and anyway i was all jazz and as i left in the foyer there was a table set up by mufon the mutual ufo network that was established in 1969 by a couple of engineers in seguin texas and so they have a monthly journal that they publish and so i started to get that and you know talks about cases that they get involved with and everything so that was fun for a while but it wasn't enough for me and found out that they had a training course for field investigators. And so I took that and I started to investigate cases. Well, the people were telling me that they were having sightings. And so I was really interested because I was a nuts and bolts kind of a guy. I wanted to understand, you know, how these things operate and all of that. But then they told me that they had contact with these non-human intelligences, and I was rather skeptical. And I'm saying, oh, no, that can't be. And what happened was that almost without exception, most of the cases that I got involved with included not only sightings, but people, again, telling me that they had contact with these entities. And so I said, oh, my God, there's something going on here. And one day this person asked me, hey, do you know of other people that are having similar experiences? And I said, I do. Next thing I know, I'm facilitating a support group in my office in San Jose on a monthly basis. And it was fascinating to hear these stories.
